Emma has done the training with us today for our manual handling and she was first class. She made the training relevant for us and no one found it boring which is quite an achievement for a two hour manual handling course.
The relationship between Sodexo and TLC began in July 2012 when The Cleaning Centre of Excellence teamed up with TLC to offer some unique QCF opportunities.
I was very keen to seize the opportunity of funded qualifications as I had great focus upon improving our team development. We enrolled our soft service team (a mixture of cleaners, cleaning supervisors and lab support technicians) on to the cleaning and environmental services level 2 qualification. We then enrolled 19 service managers on to the Facilities Management level 3 qualifications.
TLC has been a fantastic partner throughout the process. The mobilisation of the qualifications was very smooth and well planned, the delivery of the qualifications has been very strong indeed. The feedback from our team members has been consistently excellent with most of them stating that the assigned tutors have been the best coaches and mentors they have ever had!
In a nutshell, I personally have been very impressed with our partnership with TLC and I’m keen to ensure that our relationship and success rate grows which ultimately will help me to develop my teams and provide better services at AstraZeneca.
Congratulations on your Ofsted Grade One attainment you should be very proud of this and is of course comforting for us to know you are an ‘outstanding’ provider looking after our learners.
This has been an inspirational project in so many ways from the commitment of Compass, to the dedication and hard work of the candidates and the motivational approach of TLC the training provider. We are delighted the project has been so successful and congratulate all involved.
