Emma has done the training with us today for our manual handling and she was first class. She made the training relevant for us and no one found it boring which is quite an achievement for a two hour manual handling course.
This has been an inspirational project in so many ways from the commitment of Compass, to the dedication and hard work of the candidates and the motivational approach of TLC the training provider. We are delighted the project has been so successful and congratulate all involved.
Congratulations on your Ofsted Grade One attainment you should be very proud of this and it's of course comforting for us to know you are an ‘outstanding’ provider looking after our learners.
We received the Manual Handling training from TLC and I am pleased to say, we were really impressed with their delivery. TLC came to our business premises and worked with our employees in order to accommodate the shift patterns and our business needs. Along with the extra feature of the Manual Handling video showing the techniques of Manual Handling, the entire session was clear, concise and really enjoyable. We look forward to our next training session with TLC.
The relationship between Sodexo and TLC began in July 2012 when The Cleaning Centre of Excellence teamed up with TLC to offer some unique QCF opportunities.
I was very keen to seize the opportunity of funded qualifications as I had great focus upon improving our team development. We enrolled our soft service team (a mixture of cleaners, cleaning supervisors and lab support technicians) on to the cleaning and environmental services level 2 qualification. We then enrolled 19 service managers on to the Facilities Management level 3 qualifications.
TLC has been a fantastic partner throughout the process. The mobilisation of the qualifications was very smooth and well planned, the delivery of the qualifications has been very strong indeed. The feedback from our team members has been consistently excellent with most of them stating that the assigned tutors have been the best coaches and mentors they have ever had!
In a nutshell, I personally have been very impressed with our partnership with TLC and I’m keen to ensure that our relationship and success rate grows which ultimately will help me to develop my teams and provide better services at AstraZeneca.
TLC put together a bespoke package for us and even made the imagery and video contact specific to our business. My staff were engaged throughout all the training due to the bespoke approach, which was easy to put together and initiate. I would definitely recommend using TLC and we will certainly be doing more business with them in the future.
The learners are really enjoying the courses they are on and some are already hoping to move up a level in the future. They were impressed by the commitment and professionalism of you both as TLC Assessors.
I met with Anne in September 2014 to discuss the opportunities available. Since then we have taken this opportunity to provide quite a few of our staff with personal development to support succession planning. Staff started courses late January/early February.
